Rogers Save & Return Program

Learn about how the program works, and how to return your Save & Return device to Rogers.

How the Save & Return program works

Save & Return applies a credit to your phone cost at purchase. When your loan term ends, you can return the phone in good condition or pay the rest of your bill.

Play this video to learn how Save & Returns works:

Returning or upgrading your phone

The Save & Return program lowers the upfront cost of your device by your Save & Return credit. You agree to settle your Save & Return credit at a later date by either returning the device, or repaying your Save & Return credit.

At the end of your financing term

When your financing term ends, you can return your phone or keep it. If you keep it, the Save & Return amount will appear on your next bill.

You can choose to:

  • Pay it in full.
  • Pay it over 12 months at 0% interest on your Rogers bill (available for devices financed with Save & Return starting November 12, 2025).
  • Pay with a Rogers Red Mastercard® and convert to a 0% interest Equal Payment Plan for 12–48 months.

You have a 60-day grace period after your Save & Return term ends. During this time, you can still return your phone if you upgrade to a new device. If already charged, the Save & Return amount will be refunded.

Your financing end date appears in your Device Financing Agreement, Save & Return Terms, bill, and MyRogers account. You’ll also receive an email or SMS reminder before your term ends.

Phone condition requirements for returns

If you’re returning your phone, it must be in good working condition.

The phone must be able to:

  • Power on and reach the home screen.
  • Hold a charge.
  • Allow a factory reset.
  • Operate normally.

The phone can’t have any cracks (including front and back glass), dents or bending. No missing components such as SIM/media tray. Remove all accounts and security locks, including Apple ID, Google Account, Find My Mobile, and firmware locks.

We can’t accept phones that are lost, stolen, or don’t meet these requirements. If this happens, the remaining balance will need to be paid.

Devices replaced through Device Protection can be returned if they meet condition requirements.

How to return your phone or upgrade early

If you buy a new device in store, you can return your old one at the same time. If you upgrade online, a return kit will be sent to you. If you want to return your device and aren’t upgrading, contact Rogers Customer Service for help.

You can upgrade your phone anytime from month 2 to month 24 of your Device Financing term. Your return options depend on how and where you upgrade. You’ll need to pay any remaining balance.
