Activate or change a Physical SIM Card, activate an eSIM, or swap a SIM card from one device to another.
When you activate a new line, your SIM card is already activated and ready to use. Insert it into your device to get connected. If you do not have an active SIM card, please contact your Rogers support or company telecom support.
If you’re bringing your number from another service provider, you’ll need to take a few more steps to get set up. Learn how to transfer your existing number to Rogers.
The ICCID is the identification number of your SIM card. It’s a unique 20-digit number printed on your SIM card that starts with 89302.

It’s best to turn off your phone and take the SIM card out. You’ll see the SIM card number on the card itself as most Android devices don’t have a way to find the SIM card number using the phone’s settings.
An eSIM is a digital SIM that lets you activate a mobile plan without having to use a physical SIM card. If your device supports Dual SIM, you can use an eSIM is to allow two lines or more on it.
You can use an eSIM if you are on a Rogers mobile plan and have an eSIM compatible device: Enter *#06# on your keypad to see a list of your device information. If you see EID in the list, then your device is eSIM compatible.
When you place an order through our portal or website, you can request an eSIM with an eligible device or during a “bring your own device” activation. We will send you the eSIM digitally with completion of your order. Please check your closed order or emails for your eSIM information.
If you are not making an order to include an eSIM with, you can purchase one in any Rogers branded store.
Dual SIM offers the convenience of having two or more phone numbers on a single device. You can have separate personal and business numbers, or add a second line when travelling internationally.
The phone numbers can be on the same account, on different accounts, or from different carriers.
